**THE ROLE**
- An exceptional people manager with the ability to lead a team through a time of dynamic change, building a high-performing, outcomes-oriented culture in a supportive, learning-focused environment?
- A great communicator with proven experience in working collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders to achieve good partnerships with government departments, landlords and other regulators?
- Experienced in and/or have a strong understanding of the mandatory and highly regulated processes within state government for various property transactions including leasing, acquisition, mortgaging, divestment and sub-divisions?

The Portfolio and Leasing Manager will manage a team of property professionals responsible for the administration and performance of Director of Housing portfolios, including those with registered community housing agencies and private parties. This critical role is responsible for maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders; providing professional, robust advice; leading a team through a period of dynamic change; developing strategic frameworks; managing robust procurement processes, operating budget and cash flow management; performance reporting and risk management.
The Portfolio and Leasing Manager will be required to execute leasing strategies and drive enhanced performance through the leveraging of relationships and market knowledge. This is an exciting time to be joining Homes Victoria as it delivers the Victorian Government's landmark social and affordable housing investment.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
(a) Researching, preparing, and executing project business cases and plans within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters
(b) Preparing and presenting quality reports and work briefings in accordance with the department's project management processes
(c) Evaluating tender bids and participating in liaison and negotiation associated with tender processes
