Lutheran Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Housing Officer** to join the **Mary & Martha’s Refuge team**. This role plays a vital part in supporting women who have experienced domestic and family violence to secure safe, sustainable, and long-term housing solutions.

**_Employment Type: Part-Time (30.4 hours per week)_**

**About The Role**:
As a Housing Officer, you will:

- Provide comprehensive support, information, advocacy, and referrals to clients seeking housing
- Manage tenancy documentation, agreements, bonds, inspections, and condition reports
- Coordinate property maintenance in collaboration with the Property Team and external contractors
- Facilitate training or one-on-one sessions with clients to support tenancy success
- Maintain accurate client records and housing data as per compliance and reporting requirements
- Participate in the after-hours on-call roster

**About You**:

- Experience in housing, homelessness, or community services
- Strong understanding of the barriers faced by women affected by domestic and family violence
- Excellent communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and confident working independently
- Working knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy processes
- Tertiary qualification in human services or similar
- Valid Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance
- QLD Driver’s Licence

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the homelessness or domestic and family violence sectors
