Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an Adviser
- National Plan Review on a contract for 9 months with potential extension up to 6 months.

**Position Overview**

**Pre-requisites required**:
People who are successful in this position must have the following pre-requisites
- Demonstrated experience in a policy role, with experience in a secretariat role being highly regarded
- Ability to research information and prepare advice on complex governance issues.
- Experience in project management and liaison with other government agencies and industry groups across Australia.
- Contract management skills

**Major areas of Responsibility**:

- Produce evidence-based policy advice, discussion papers, reports, briefings, and correspondence to assist in conducting the Review of the National Plan.
- Manage the conduct of stakeholder consultations, across the Commonwealth, State and Northern Territory governments and industry.
- Manage governance of the Review and provide secretariat support to the National Plan Review Steering Group.
- Assist in arranging, conducting and reporting on stakeholder consultations for the Review.
- Manage contractors or consultants providing in support of the Review.
- Manage the drafting of the final report on the National Plan Review for the consideration of the National Plan Strategic Coordination Committee.
- Commit to the Agency’s Code of Conduct and Values
