Play a key role in supporting the University’s strategy, planning and governance.

As a Planning Officer, you will be part of a team that ensure the effective management of the University’s Planning and Performance Framework and provide advice and assistance on a wide range of initiatives related to measuring the University’s performance.

You will do this through:

- Utilising your experience in business planning, preferably within the Higher Education sector and your understanding of government policies relating to the sector.
- Your ability to effectively engage with stakeholders through strong written and oral communication skills
- Highly developed computer skills including advanced excel skills

**Position overview**

Reporting to the Associate Director, Planning and Reviews you will join the Planning and Reviews team, which forms part of our Planning and Service Performance division. Our division takes a leading role in providing data for evidence-based decision-making throughout the University and delivering client-focussed solutions.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support and promote the development and management of the University’s Planning and Performance Framework
- Monitor and report on the University’s Key Performance Indicators
- Undertake research and analysis to inform and guide on the management of strategic and operational plans
- Provide support in developing models and tools to drive performance improvement
- Ensure effective governance of business processes is maintained and remains effective
