**Sydney, **the
**HSEQ Advisor** is a valued member of the HSEQ team. You will work closely with our Energy Solutions (ESOL) team who's cutting-edge renewable energy solutions shift businesses, industries and Australia towards a better energy future.
With respect, integrity and honesty, you will:
- Assist with implementation and review of Shell Energy's Safety Management System;
- Support implementation, review and document control of procedures in Shell Energy's safety software system;
- Provide monthly and quarterly safety data reports to the Corporate HSEQ Manager;
- Review project risk management documentation;
- Assist with investigations and reporting processes;
- Undertake safety audits;
- With support, engage with relevant stakeholders to enable effective roll out and communication of training packages;
- Provide training to business units as required;
- Provide guidance and safety support to the Energy Solutions team; and
- Assist with any workplace health and safety (WHS) initiatives and driving the development of positive WHS culture across our business.
**What you’ll bring**
Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:
- Experience in safety in the construction industry;
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation;
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with safety software systems;
- Demonstrated capability for attention to detail with particular emphasis on reporting requirements;
- ICAM certification;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Willingness to undertake safety training to enhance capabilities in the role;
- Willingness to assist Shell Energy to become a recognised Safety Leader in our industry; and
- Ability to travel domestically every 2 - 3 weeks or as required.
