**About the role**

As Team Leader (Spatial and Asset Information) you will be part of the Asset Services Branch and will be responsible for managing the spatial and asset information services across Council.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading and coordinating the implementation and ongoing maintenance of an enterprise GIS solution across the organisation
- Leading the establishment and ongoing monitoring of governance systems, processes, and data architecture to ensure the sustainable delivery of spatial and asset information services
- Providing specialist technical and expert advice relevant to spatial and asset information management systems to Council staff and external clients
- Effectively managing the Spatial and Asset Information team’s team budgets, operational schedule, and resourcing to ensure that agreed service levels, deliverables and outcomes are met or exceeded

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications from a recognised institution in the fields of computer science, information technology, geospatial science, or an associated discipline
- Extensive skills and experience in the implementation and management of spatial and/or asset information systems and solutions
- Substantial leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to provide expert advice on spatial and asset information matters, manage consultants and staff, and liaise with professionals in other organisations
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of enterprise spatial database architecture and systems
- The ability to be resilient and agile in managing competing asset information and spatial services delivery priorities

This is a permanent full-time position at Level 8 with an attractive salary package commencing at $117,193 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
