The Role (Client Services Manager)

In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks that are key to the successful implementation and ongoing administration of clients’ financial strategies. This position will work closely to support Financial Advisers and clients, and you will play an important part in the client experience. You will be attending client meetings, developing the financial planning strategies, and assisting with plan presentation and implementation. You will work closely with our financial advisers, liaise with other Specialists (Mortgage Brokers, Estate Planning and the like) and have exposure to the financial planning advice process and methodologies. This is a role which will ideally suit an experienced professional who is looking for a full time client services role within the financial planning industry.

Your key attributes:

- Clear and friendly communication skills to build strong trusting relationships with clients.
- A high level of attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to multi-task, and accountability to follow up on tasks to keep client affairs in order.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High client service orientation.

Desired:

- Qualifications in a business discipline: Commerce, Accounting, Financial Planning, or similar.
- Experience using Xplan tools such as Xtools+, Risk Researcher & Wealthsolver.
- Technical knowledge of current legislative, industry and corporate financial services standards.
- Good understanding of the financial planning industry.

Key responsibilities:

- Be a point of contact for client queries, respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Maintaining client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow up with clients throughout the advice implementation process.
- Liaising with our clients’ accountants, fund managers, insurers, stockbrokers and other third parties to deliver client focused outcomes.
- Attend and assist the financial planners with a variety of administrative tasks.
- Assist to ensure client files, strategy & implementation are complete and compliant with legislation and licensee standards.
- Use of Xplan to maintain client data, run comparisons and create financial modelling projections.
- Preparation of RoA’s.
- Preparation of SoA requests, review of SoA documents and assisting with SoA implementation.

As this is a team lead role, in addition to the above:

- Manage a small team of support staff, communicating and providing feedback to staff, ensuring that the client experience runs smoothly.
- Part of the interview panel for new hires.
- Provide ongoing feedback and assist in performance reviews of existing team members.
- Assist with development and update of back office policies & procedures (primarily new client onboarding, post review meeting and advice implementation processes).

Please note the salary range for this role is between $60,001 and $80,000 p.a., plus super.

**Salary**: $60,001.00 - $80,000.00 per year
