We are seeking an experienced Stores Officer to join our team as we head toward operations. Reporting to the Warehouse and Supply Chain Superintendent, key responsibilities will include managing of freight to and from site, conducting periodic stock takes, issuing of parts required for plant maintenance, assisting with management of rotable spares and building relationships with key suppliers.

This role will be on an 8:6 roster with opportunity to FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Gascoyne region.

Your role
- Responsible for daily stores, receivables and binning functions, spot and cyclic stock takes, unpacking of stock and back freight
- Operation of forklifts / loading and unloading freight trucks
- Assist the planning department by obtaining quotes for components required for various fixed plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Responsible for raising, receival, closing out and follow up of outstanding purchase orders
- Maintaining store organisation and cleanliness

**Job Requirements**:
About you
- Pronto experience or high exposure to a CMMS is essential
- End to end Warehouse experience preferred (set up through to daily operations)
- Pronto cataloguing experience would be advantageous.
- Mechanical background or a strong understanding of pumps and/or electrical components would be highly regarded.
- A strong focus on safety
- Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously
- Exceptional housekeeping and organisational skills
- Excellent time management and communicational skills
- Valid C Class manual car license is essential
- Truck license highly regarded
- Forklift ticket
