We are looking for individuals to bring their experience and make a difference by:

- Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle
- Identify risks that can delay the release and manage them, ensuring that the scope, schedule, and quality of the release are not affected
- Schedule release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release
- Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule
- Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities
- Make sure the allocation of Release Engineers to every release
- Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully
- Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software
- Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies
- Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management
- Conduct timely assessment of change from business, technical, scheduling, implementation perspective. Accepts, prioritizes, and categorizes change requests
- Reject outright any change request that is completely out of scope or out of policy for Change Management
- Chairs the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB) meetings
- Ensures that all preparations have been made for a CAB meeting, including creating the agenda, circulating change requests to be considered, and inviting participants

Desired Skills and qualification:

- Tertiary level qualifications in Business, Commerce, Information Services or an IT related discipline are desirable
- Conceptional knowledge of Information Technology
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed understanding of, and practical experience of using different data tools to transform and analyze different data sets
- Experience of discovering and sharing analytical insight with stakeholders with various levels of analytical expertise and at all levels of seniority
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets
- ITIL/ITAM certification
