Operations and Warehouse Administration Officer

**Auscrown** is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our **Preston** team as a **Warehouse and Customer Service Officer**. In this **part-time** role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of both our office and warehouse operations.

We are looking to hire someone who ideally has demonstrated experience in a customer facing / logistics role.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Warehouse Operations**:

- Receive, store, moving, pick, pack and dispatch orders efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Assist with warehouse safety and security protocols proactively.
- Coordinate warehouse requirements and workflow.
- Liaise with transport companies to arrange pick-ups, deliveries and ensure schedule adherence.
- Assisting with inventory control and investigating stock abnormalities
- Basic warehouse cleaning as required - empty bins, sweep floors.
- Keep warehouse tidy.
- **Customer Service**:

- Handle customer inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve customer returns and claims.
- **General Administration**:

- Manage data entry, scanning, and document filing.
- Maintain stock levels for office and warehouse supplies.
- Provide administrative support to the sales and warehouse teams.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks as required, including lifting, moving, and packing stock.
- Basic gas knowledge and gas appliance operations is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating a positive and helpful attitude when resolving inquiries and requests.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of maintaining accurate records and efficiently managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to identify and solve problems proactively, with a resourceful approach to finding solutions.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Prior experience working in a warehouse environment and general office practices preferred.
