**About the Role**
The Lending Services Officer is responsible for providing an efficient, high-quality level of service to member. Working in an environment that reflects sales and service excellence whilst assisting the banks’ customers with lending retention interaction.

Lending Service Officers are also responsible for actively cross-selling and promoting the organisation’s products and digital self-services in order to maximise business opportunities and increase product penetration/uptake.

Working hours 70 hours per fortnight | 9:30am - 6pm

**About You**
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all products, services, policies and procedures applicable to the position
- Maintains knowledge of the Bank's suite of credit products and keeps up to date with competitor's products ensuring accurate comparisons are made whilst offering members personalised home loan health check solutions to meet their needs
- Takes ownership and accountability of professional and self-development
- Pro-actively keeps abreast of TMBL and Industry developments
- Conducts outbound calls and receives inbound calls for lending retention. This income generating member interactions require the Lending Services Officers to attract, bind, retain and increase the wallet share of our members with the bank
- Loads loan switch and conversion requests into the banks' lending system and recommends for approval were applicable, with a high level of data input accuracy
- Effectively deals with every member/customer interaction in a positive, thoughtful, personalised and knowledgeable manner - including the professional handling of complaints and associated resolutions
- Actively transitions from 'sales and service' to 'event' or 'trigger' based activities as the situation requires
- Conducts all tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Works collaboratively with the team to achieve agreed team Service Level Agreement's, by actioning member's enquiries and correspondence within acceptable time frame
- Assists with other duties in the department as required, including supporting the Lending Solutions Centre with interaction overflows

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Financial Services Reform Tier 2 Accreditation
- Demonstrated mortgage lending experience
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Financial Services desirable
- Proven Lending Retention or personal banking experience is highly desirable
- Accurate keyboard/data entry
- Outstanding customer focus, including being results orientated with a positive attitude
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Technologically savvy (e.g., ability to use new and/or multiple systems simultaneously)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility in working days/hours in order to achieve business outcomes is essential
