Our state government client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator

**Your new company**

Our state government client based in Perth’s CBD is currently seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator to join their team on a temporary contract basis. The temporary contract will be initially for 3 months whilst the department recruits the role long term. The working week will consist of full-time hours and at a competitive hourly rate.

**Your new role**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Review and monitor responses to queries received through the organisations digital platforms
- Create the digital content for the organisations online platforms including the website and social media accounts
- Participate in the planning of the organisation’s stakeholder engagement strategies
- Oversee the organisations projects through the delivery phase

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- Experience in content planning and management including the utilisation of news articles, EDMs, video content and photography
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Well-developed written and verbal communications skills
- Graphic design experience would be desirable but not essential
