Family-owned and established over 40 years ago, this well known and well trusted national business operates across a diverse business portfolio that covers the full spectrum of building industry services.

Having successfully navigated complex commercial transformation, they are now seeking to capitalise on their strong forward workload through the recalibration and refresh of their people function in support of new business and cultural objectives.

Reporting directly to the P&C Manager, the P&C Business Partner will be responsible for a broad range of operational and strategic outcomes to align with new business and people strategy.

In this role you will:

- Partner with the P&C Manager in the development and implementation of a range of projects to support both short and long-term people objectives
- Lead the execution of a broad HR program, directly engaging with stakeholders and respective leadership teams across a nationally dispersed business
- Provide HR generalist delivery and advisory support across the employee lifecycle including recruitment and selection, learning & development, reporting, performance management, payroll, compensation and benefits and EAP
- Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enable a more proactive and strategic function

The P&C Business Partner is for someone who is passionate about stepping into a learning environment where you will have the opportunity to partner and collaborate with the P&C Manager and broader business in the day-to-day and long-term management of the People function.

We will be looking for:

- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist that includes the delivery of a broad range of advisory support to a dispersed workforce - ideally within blue-collar environments
- A history of strong, proactive stakeholder engagement with demonstrated experience in problem solving and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience in the planning and execution of strategic people projects
