The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As Assistant Front Office Manager, you will oversee all front office operations alongside the Front Office Manager, while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. **A little taste of your day-to-day** - Lead from the front, guiding our Front Office team with hands-on support and enthusiasm to create memorable guest experiences that reflect our brand’s genuine warmth and care. - Welcome new team members with confidence — supporting their onboarding, training, and growth so they feel empowered and capable in every shift. - Be the friendly face at the desk — connecting with guests throughout their stay, resolving any hiccups with empathy, and ensuring smooth arrivals, departures, and everything in between. - Work closely with Housekeeping and Engineering to keep our rooms guest-ready, coordinating the details that make each stay seamless. - Keep operations running smoothly by managing rosters, payroll accuracy, and team performance — balancing efficiency with a personal touch. - Take guest feedback to heart — review comments, spot opportunities, and bring ideas to life that elevate the guest experience. - Look after everyone’s safety and wellbeing by maintaining high standards of security, compliance, and care for both guests and colleagues. - Play your part in achieving hotel goals through smart cost management, occupancy growth, and creative ways to drive revenue — from upselling to converting walk-ins. - Oversee the finer details like billing accuracy, night audit checks, and emergency procedures to ensure everything behind the scenes runs just as smoothly as front of house. - Help build a supportive, motivated team culture where achievements are celebrated, everyone feels valued, and brand values shine through in everything we do. **What we need from you** - You’re a hands-on leader who thrives in the hustle of hotel life and inspires others to do their best. - You know your way around front office operations and have at least a few years’ experience leading a team in a hotel or resort setting. - Ideally you hold educational experience in Hotel Management, Hospitality or Business - You’re passionate about creating memorable guest moments and know how to turn challenges into great experiences. - You bring strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills — and you’re calm under pressure. - You understand the balance between great service and strong business results, with an eye for detail and efficiency. - You’re flexible, reliable, and happy to roll up your sleeves across evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. - Most importantly, you bring positivity, professionalism, and pride to everything you do. **What you can expect from us** You’ll receive a competitive salary that rewards all your hard work and a wide range of benefits designed to help you live your best work life - including, impressive room discounts and some of the best training in the business.
