Social Media Manager

**Calling All Social Media and Content Creators**

Are you a passionate pet lover with a knack for creating captivating content? Do you have a paw-some understanding of social media platforms and a creative flair that can bring our Trending Tails brand to life? If so, we want YOU to join our growing team as a Social Media Manager/Content Creator

2 days per week on location and a few more hours remotely.

Trending Tails is an online store specializing in matching accessories for pets and their pet parents. We're dedicated to providing trendy, stylish, and high-quality products that celebrate the unique bond between pets and their owners. With only one month under our belt, we're already making waves in the pet accessory industry, and we're just getting started

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Develop and execute creative social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- End-to-end content creation including planning, creating, curating, scheduling, copywriting, publishing & reporting across all social media platforms.
- Plan, create, and develop compelling content including photography and videos for various social platforms.
- Maximizing engagement and growth, constantly evaluating performance, benchmarking against competitor content, and pivoting strategy in response to these data indicators
- Keeping a close eye on the social media creator landscape
- Bring in fresh ideas for talent and content.
- Happy and willing to appear in content.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years content creation experience with a product or brand, creating and editing video/ image content on all social media platforms.
- Deep knowledge of hashtag and engagement strategy.
- Proven success growing an engaged audience on social media platforms.
- Proficiency in image and video editing, with experience using industry-standard software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and excellent attention to detail
- Enthusiasm and excitement about engaging with social media audience, influencers etc
- Be a creative and strategic thinker, driven by trends and insights.
- A passion for pets and an understanding of the pet accessory market is a big plus

**Salary**: $50.00 per hour
