We are looking for a dynamic Social Media & Content Executive to help us elevate engagement, grow our audience, and deliver meaningful commercial outcomes for our brand and partners.

You will be leading the development of paid and organic content strategies, crafting compelling copy, overseeing vibrant community management, and providing strategic insight.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Own and grow The Careers Department social media presence across all major platforms
- Schedule content across all social media channels ensuring content represents The Careers Department brand.
- Support the development and maintenance of our social media marketing calendar
- Daily monitoring of tagged content and community engagement across social platforms, including responding to all mentions
- Support in the creation of captions and copy for social posts that reflect our brand voice
- Assist with trend spotting, keeping an eye on what’s performing across platforms and flagging relevant opportunities
- Assist in compiling performance reports and pulling basic insights to inform the broader content strategy
- Help with video editing (Using Canva), caption writing, and uploading content across platforms (especially Instagram and TikTok)

**Requirements**:

- Have a deep understanding of current platforms, algorithms, and emerging trends
- You are a storyteller with exceptional copywriting and editing skills
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute fresh ideas
- Passionate about social media and content
- Highly motivated with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confident writing engaging captions
- Ability to multi-task whilst meeting tight deadlines within a fast paced environment
- Awareness of current social media trends and an eye for what content will engage our audience
- **(Highly regarded) to hold a degree in Communications (or a related field) and/or agency experience**

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
