**About Research, Innovation and Commercialisation and the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre**
Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (RIC) is the central facilitator of research funding in the University, taking advantage of the full diversity of research funding opportunities.

The Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre (MEC) is the gateway to entrepreneurship at the University of Melbourne. The centre was formed in 2018 as part of a commitment to enrich the culture of entrepreneurship within the University and provide pathways to support the entrepreneurial leaders of the future.

Our aim is to offer students, alumni, academics, industry, government and the general public opportunities to engage with and move innovation forward to create real-world impact.

**About the Role**
The Melbourne InnovatEd program is an initiative that implements the University’s commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship, both through education and by directly supporting startups. Based at Melbourne Connect and hosted by the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre (MEC), Melbourne InnovatEd is funded and coordinated by the Office of Provost. This program is a pipeline program of the University’s education technology-oriented innovation. Melbourne InnovatEd is designed to incentivise, foster and drive the development and systematic uptake of technology-mediated innovations in teaching, learning and assessment at the University. This is a perfect opportunity if you want to make a real impact on the future world of technology in tertiary education.

Reporting to the Marketing, Communications and Events Manager (MEC), you will support the delivery of the Melbourne InnovatEd program and the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre (MEC) content and event production. You will also work with a range of diverse stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the program. This includes planning and coordinating events and designing high-quality written and visual content across multiple platforms to support our objectives.

Responsibilities include:

- Plan and design content that showcases Melbourne InnovatEd and MEC programs and projects, events and teams, and other materials as required, always aligning to established branding and editorial guidelines.
- Support the ideation, development and execution of a diverse range of Melbourne InnovatEd and MEC events, working closely with the Melbourne InnovatEd Program team on major events including program celebrations, regular masterclasses, workshops, and other events.
- Contribute to organisational effectiveness by working in a transparent and consultative manner, sharing personal knowledge and technical expertise, undertaking assigned activities, maintaining co-operative working relationships with colleagues, and seeking and responding to feedback.

**About You**
To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track of record of delivering high-quality marketing and events campaigns, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are also a problem solver and possess strong organisational and time management skills. Additionally, you should have experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have high-level stakeholder management skills.

You will also have:

- A degree in Communications, Marketing or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience in content design and development, specifically visual content, using Canva and/or Adobe Suite.
