**Overall Purpose of the Role**

**Role Duties and Requirements**
- Manage all wedding & social function leads and conversion
- Conduct site inspections, client meetings and liaison, create detailed event orders, invoicing and floorplans & written correspondence to the highest standard
- Establish a strong and attentive relationship with clients to ensure the event is executed as planned
- Work co-operatively with operations and kitchen teams to coordinate every aspect of our events to ensure seamless delivery
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers including equipment, theming, photographers and audio-visual companies
- Plan other events as required
- Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback
- Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming service to customers and clients

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in function venue or similar environment
- Sales experience within the catering or hospitality industry preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A warm, friendly, professional manner towards all clients and must be a team player
- Experience in front of house service and room set ups
- Proficiency in Priava, or other similar event management software and strong IT skills
