Kmart is seeking a versatile and dynamic Risk Reporting Analyst to play a vital role in safeguarding our business operations and supporting strategic decision-making. In this role, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, analysing and reporting on risks that impact our business operations.

Reporting to the Risk & Resilience Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies, ensuring the continued success and resilience of our organization

As a Risk Reporting Analyst working for Kmart Group, you will:

- **Manage and deliver risk reporting**: Take ownership of risk reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and relevance to support informed decision-making and align with overall business strategy. Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Create sophisticated integration across the function and business to add to the maturity of risk approaches
- **Assist in day-to-day risk support**: Manage requests for risk support from both internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring timely responses and effective resolution. You will also support the delivery of Risk projects as and when necessary.
- **Support GRC implementation**: Lead the implementation of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives in Kmart Group and develop strong connections across Wesfarmers to ideate system upgrades and enhancements. Administer Power BI to refine key metrics and reporting capabilities, collaborating with IT and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- **Introduce automated systems**: Implement automated systems for periodic risk reviews, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in risk management processes. Foster cross-functional integration to streamline risk reporting and ensure comprehensive coverage across all business areas.
- **Establish strong networks**: Cultivate strong internal networks to advance risk maturity within the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to promote a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Qualifications in Risk Management, Analytics, Computer Sciences, Commerce, Statistics or related field ideal, accompanied by 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position.
- A solid understanding of quantitative techniques such as regression analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, or value-at-risk (VaR) modelling desired
- Experience with systems such as Archer and Power BI including high proficiency in MS excel (i.e. Pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas and advanced charting functions).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Interest and skill in leveraging technology to enhance processes and reporting capabilities.
- Experience in project coordination or GRC / Risk System implementation highly regarded
- Experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards to monitor key risk metrics and performance indicators.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of risk reporting and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
