**About the Role**

Based in BYD’s Mulgrave head office, the Retail Performance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Regional Field Teams by delivering timely and accurate performance reporting, data insights, and analysis across the national retail network. This role is critical in tracking KPIs, identifying growth opportunities, and helping Dealers and Regional staff make informed, data-driven decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key retail KPIs including sales, conversion rates, inventory turnover, lead management, and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to data and performance reporting requests from Regional Field Managers and support the execution of regional action plans.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into Dealer, region, and vehicle model performance to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the production of national and regional sales and retail performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the ongoing optimisation of retail operations by identifying process improvements based on data insights.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of incentive programs, Dealer targets, and performance frameworks, as well as any competitor campaigns.

**About You**

You are a data-driven and detail-oriented analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights. With experience in automotive or retail analytics, you're confident working with cross-functional stakeholders and can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

**You’ll Bring**
- 3+ years’ experience in a business analyst or reporting analyst role, preferably within the automotive or retail sector.
- High proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualisation and reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support and respond to Field Team needs.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities with accuracy.
- Understanding of automotive Dealership operations and performance levers is highly regarded.
