**About the role**:
As a result of significant growth, we have a newly created opportunity for a Wine Sales & Operations (S&OP) Specialist to join our Wine team. In this key position, you will be pivotal to the delivery of our Exclusive Wine Brand strategy & financial targets through the establishment & end to end management of the S&OP process across bulk & packaged wine. You will collaborate across the sourcing, marketing, trade planning & supply chain teams to deliver a sustainable forecasting & production model for our exclusive wines.

You’ll also:

- Lead S&OP process forums to ensure a clear view of the business planning horizons
- Drive the creation of process and tools that assess & resolve/communicate issues which may lead to supply shortfalls or excess stock & support projects which will eliminate root cause
- Overlay vintage manufacture quantity against sales tracking & forecasting
- Be accountable for the working capital bulk wine & packaged stock budget, ensuring weekly reporting is completed, forecasts communicated & clear plan to reduce tock levels when budgets are exceeded
- Once fully established, lead monthly S&OP process forum to ensure a clear view of the business planning horizons
- Overlay vintage manufacture quantity against sales tracking & forecast
- Coordinate areas relevant to S&OP in relation to product portfolio changes, NPD, product deletions & product life cycle
- Identify, manage, & resolve project risks and issues removing obstacles and barriers to progress
- Influence culture of continuous process improvement with key stakeholders.
- Optimise forecasting of business and supplier requirements to ensure store availability and optimal sales.

**About you and your skills**:
You will have proven success in building a business process model & bringing it to operational excellence, as well as exposure to production budgets and working capital constraints.

You’ll also need:

- Proven experience in a Sales & Operations Planning role, as well as comprehensive practical experience within inventory planning, replenishment, allocation, and sound knowledge of end-to-end supply chain
- Proven commercial success and strong commercial acumen
- Experience in driving organisational change and influencing key business partners
- Passion for the product (wine, beer, spirits or ready to drink), previous knowledge or experience within the Liquor industry will be strongly considered
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team with a common goal
