NALHN is seeking Medical Officers with experience in General Registration, Intensive Care Unit & Obstetrics.

- Modbury Hospital, A 220 bed, acute care teaching public hospital providing inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, aged care, rehabilitation, and palliative care.
- GP Plus Health Care Centres and Super Clinics
- Aboriginal Health Services, with the largest population of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of all SA regions, NALHN is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate healthcare services for the Aboriginal Community.
- Mental health Services

**Your new role**
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is currently seeking Medical Officers with skills and experience within General Registration, Intensive Care Unit and Obstetrics.

As a part of SA Health, NALHN provides a range of hospital, community, and home-based services to over 400,000 people within the community. With services provided across multiple sites including Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital, GP Plus Health Care Centres and Outpatient clinics.

You will be joining a world-class public health care system, renowned for early implementation of innovative practices, research, and technology.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful for this position you will hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. You will also:

- Hold registration or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Successfully complete all pre-employment checks prior to commencement, including Criminal History Check, Vulnerable Person-Related Employment Screening (NPC), Working with Children Screening DHS, Immunisation Risk Category A (Direct contact with blood and other body substances).

- Demonstrated skills in communication with colleagues and patients.
