Our client is a market leader who specialising in electrical infrastructure projects across Sydney and NSW. They have been operating for the past 25 years and are well regarded in the industry.

**Your new role**

General manager, overseeing the daily operations of the business. It is the general manager's responsibility to ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees. This business is looking for someone who can help look at the business from a holistic perspective.
- Overseeing the daily operations of the business
- Design strategy and set goals for growth.
- Target new business outside of current revenue
- Maintain budgets and optimise expenses.
- Set policies and processes.
- Set key performance goals.
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
- Prepare regular reports for directors.
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
- Provide solutions to issues with clients and subcontractors.

Identifying areas needing cost reduction or process improvement

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven success in a managerial role
- Strong decision-making ability
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
- Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans
- Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
- Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
