**The Organisation**
With an increasing demand for their services, our client is seeking to appoint an experienced
**General Manager** to lead this growth through strong operational and strategic leadership.
This well-established organisation was started with a passion and determination to provide superior care and a better quality of life for people living with a disability. Today, the organisation continues to grow and is a registered provider with the NDIS; offering accommodation and a range of community-based programs across multiple sites.
**The Opportunity - Newcastle based**
As
**General Manager**, you will be an experienced leader with a background in disability support services or aligned industries. You will have strong financial / commercial management experience and an entrepreneurial mindset to identify opportunities for growth.
Critical to the success of this appointment will be your experience in business and strategic planning, people leadership, NDIS understanding and strong financial management. Most importantly, you will have a genuine passion for improving the lives of people living with a disability.
Specifically, your experience will include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Social Services or a related discipline;
- NDIS understanding and empathy for the challenges in delivering disability support services;
- Building, leading and coaching successful teams;
- A high level of commercial acumen;
- Ability to develop strong and productive relationships with a diverse stakeholder group;
- Working within a values-based culture
