About the role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Fundraising, in this hands-on role, you will be responsible for creating, planning, managing, and delivering marketing and communication initiatives. This is a hybrid role, Tuesday and Wednesdays you will be require to work from our Artarmon office and the remainder of the week working from home. Experience in the for-purpose sector is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

- deliver outstanding marketing initiatives by identifying project campaign objectives, target audiences, key messages, and deliverables through to execution
- develop and manage marketing plans for events and fundraising initiatives linked to clear outcomes and budgets
- increase brand awareness through innovative and strategic approaches to marketing initiatives
- deliver integrated marketing campaigns across channels such as social media, EDM, newsletters, print, radio, television and press communications.
- write copy for printed collateral, newsletters, websites, EDMs, advertising, social media, and PR
- ensure marketing and communications content is consistent with the Australian Variety Brand Book
- Experience in a generalist marketing role, ideally within a charity
- In depth Marketing and Communications knowledge across multiple channels
- Previous systems experience with Funraisin, Raisers Edge, Active Campaign, Office 365, WordPress and Canva would be an advantage
- A passion for making a difference to children and their families;
- A valid Working with Children Check; and
