El Camino Cantina is a vibrant, full-throttle Tex-Mex experience known for its loud tunes, legendary margaritas, and fun-loving atmosphere. Situated in the historic and high-traffic heart of The Rocks, our flagship venue is an absolute icon, serving up over 800 bookings every Saturday alone.

We’re not just big, we’re bold. And we’re searching for a Senior General Manager who brings the same energy, experience, and leadership to the table.
El Camino Cantina is part of Hunter St. Hospitality, a national group of more than 40 premier venues across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and beyond. Our diverse portfolio includes Rockpool Bar & Grill, Spice Temple, Saké Restaurant & Bar, The Bavarian, Winghaus, and more.

**About You**

You’re an experienced senior hospitality leader with a track record managing large teams and venues. You lead from the front, thrive under pressure, and understand how to manage operations and energy at scale.

We’re looking for someone who can match the volume and pace of El Camino Cantina while setting the tone for exceptional guest experience and operational success.

You will have:

- Proven experience as a Senior Venue Manager or General Manager in a high-volume venue (400+ pax capacity)
- Confidence managing large teams, guest bookings, events, and fast-paced service flow
- Strong commercial acumen - cost control, labour management, budgeting, and hitting revenue targets
- A passion for training, mentoring, and building dynamic, customer-focused teams
- A proactive and fun-loving attitude that fits our Tex-Mex vibe
- Valid RSA certification
