**The Role**

Mineral Resources Limited is is currently seeking an Safety Advisor with a mechanical trade background to join our roving operations throughout the Pilbara and Yilgarn region. In this role you will be play an integral role in the contribution of promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work ethic and safety culture among our heavy mobile equipment employees. As a Roving Advisor you will have the have the ability to work autonomously, planning our own site schedule to cater for the crew needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identifying risk and non-compliance issues
- Implementing OHS critical risk management programs
- Coach and mentor crews, frontline leaders and management in workplace inspections
- System auditing to verify compliance against MinRes safety standards & legislative requirements
- Interpret safety data, incident investigation and injury management cases
- Promote and participating in all safety related forums and programs

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Tertiary qualification 3 in Occupational Health and Safety
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, mentoring and developing diverse teams
- Strong understanding of Safety Management and a positive approach to implementation and execution of pragmatic management systems
- Ability to identify and instigate business improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills
