Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.

**Your Opportunity**:
The position of Social Work and Welfare Allied Health Assistant will:

- Contribute to patient care within the Social Work and Welfare teams by undertaking clinical support tasks delegated under the direct supervision of social workers and welfare workers. The Allied Health Assistant will support and assist Social Work and Welfare staff in the provision of clinical and operational support for children receiving treatment at the Queensland Children's Hospital.
- Contribute to non-clinical (administrative and organisational) service provision within the clinical service teams under the direct or indirect supervision of an allied health professional.
- Dependent upon changes to clinical demands, the Allied Health Assistant may be required to transfer and perform assistant roles and responsibilities within or across the allied health departments or programs.
