**VCAT**

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.

**About the Role**

You will at times work independently or as part of a small, dedicated team, providing customer service to VCAT Members in preparation for and during hearings. The role will primarily be onsite at the VCAT Bundoor Community Based Venue, however travel to any VCAT location, including regional venues and/or CBD locations may be required.

You will be responsible for:

- assisting Tribunal users with counter service enquiries, making referrals, recording file notes in case management systems and updating service data statistic documents
- facilitating dispute resolution between parties in line with early resolution operating model
- managing hearings; whether in person, virtual or hybrid, including directing parties, opening hearings, supporting Members, recording sessions, monitoring the inbox and coordinating interpreter or security support
- maintaining stakeholder relationships

This is a full-time, onsite based role.
