Our client is a leading business advisory consulting firm. They provide a range of different solutions to business owners from day-to-day accounting to more broad business advisory. They have created a niche offering around data analysis through understanding the importance of data analysis and the impact it can have on their clients and this is giving them a great competitive advantage. As a business, they have a fun and sociable culture and are on an exciting growth journey. They are now looking for an assistant manager to join their growing team of high calibre business advisors.

**The Role**:
You will work closely with a knowledgeable manager and a great team. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Review the monthly accounts and month end which are prepared by the team in India
- Run through the performance with the Business Owner
- Run through Analytics and track how they are going against budget and keep a track of all key performance areas
- Advise the client on any tax issues e.g. BAS, Corporate Tax, payroll tax etc.
- Get involved in process improvement as well as providing guidance on the benefits of using different software

**Your Background**:
To be considered for this Assistant Manager role you must possess the majority of the following attributes:

- Be a fully or nearly qualified Accountant (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within an SME in a hands-on role, having had exposure/input to projects such as systems or process improvements OR have worked in a small business services/consulting firm
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with all levels of stakeholders

Those who have worked in a similar capacity as a Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, or Financial/Management Accountant are welcome to apply.
