**Accounts Assistant - Arts - Sydney**

**Company Background**

Our client is a big name within Australia’s Arts industry with global acclaim. They provide a range of entertainment-based services, events, and education.

They are growing significantly and have created a new role within their team to manage the transactional element of the accounting work. They are collaborative and close-knit and seeking someone like-minded to join them and add value to the team and business.

**The Role**

As the Accounts Assistant you will focus on:

- Creating and maintaining vendor records
- Raising PO’s
- Processing invoices
- Preparing weekly payment runs (vouchers, settlements, expenses, and foreign payments)
- Managing the AP and AR inbox
- Raising sales invoices for customers
- Weekly billing to customers
- Following up with debtor balances
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Updating monthly exchange rates

**Your Background**

To become a valued and integral member of the team, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- **Immediate availability**:

- **Prior experience with both end-to-end AP and AR**:

- Degree or Diploma qualified is preferred
- Prior experience with time and material billing is highly desirable
- Passion for and/or experience within the Arts/Entertainment industry is highly regarded
