**About the role**:
This role is responsible for the development, pursuit, response and closure of new customer and sales opportunities. The Account Executive role manages current customer relationships including in account growth targets and opportunity management.
Other responsibilities include:
- Account management of specific clients.
- Business development and networking within a specified client set/patch.
- Selling and handover of moves, adds, and changes with clients.
- Deliver the revenue and expense budget objectives under the individual’s direct influence.
- Work with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure customer success.
- Provide thought leadership and mentoring to teams.
- Proactively build on customer focused culture.
- Contribute to the broader CDC team financial and operational objectives such that the business achieves the corporate goals set each year as well as the group’s long-term goals.
- Act in an ambassadorial capacity for the company.
- Lead, attend and contribute to appropriate team and stakeholder meetings and committees as required and relevant to ensure excellent stakeholder engagement and communication
- Embrace and model CDC’s DNA and Leadership Fundamentals
- Other duties as directed from time to time.
**About you**:
- Extensive experience in long sales cycles
- Experience in new business acquisition and in account growth
- Experience with NPS
- Demonstrated experience in meeting sales targets
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Building relationships with key customer stakeholders
- Demonstrated high level of professional skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
**Essential**:
- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain, an NV1 Security Clearance
