About the role

The Hospitality Services Manager is responsible for effective and efficient leadership of catering & cleaning services at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. Calvary North Adelaide Hospital is a private hospital, located in the picturesque parklands area of North Adelaide. Calvary North Adelaide Hospital was founded in 1883 by two Catholic philanthropists and handed over to the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary in 1900. It is a heritage site, surrounded by extensive grounds and private garden spaces. With over 700 staff and 120 beds, Calvary North Adelaide Hospital offers an extensive range of surgical services, medical services, cancer services including Kimberley House Day Chemotherapy Unit; Calvary Babies and Mary Potter Hospice palliative and end of life care. We are dedicated to servicing our community in partnership with General Practice and our Visiting Specialists. The role option is 0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE with flexible working hours from Monday to Friday.

**Your main duties will include**:
Your leadership skills managing a diverse workforce, within a hospitality setting providing the highest standard of food preparation and cleanliness for private patients.
Your ability to train and mentor within a competency based training framework providing role modelling of customer service, professionalism and problem solving skills.
Conformance to Infection Control, Work Health and Safety and sanitation requirements within a Hospital / Clinical setting.

About you

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Frontline Management
Certificate IV in related field of hospitality
Experience in chef/cooking and food preparation
Demonstrated understanding of WHS responsibilities
Understanding of safe food handling requirements in relation to vulnerable people
