MexiCam's is a fun and vibrant restaurant and bar, located at the Federal Mills in North Geelong. Incorporating a 150-seater dining room, showcasing Mexican inspired flavours and open flame cooking, multiple bars, outdoor dining and beverage options. The venue will also see a dedicated entertainment and gaming zone, including karaoke, pool, darts, shuffleboard and more.

About the role:

  Mexicam's is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Geelong, Victoria. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests

  • Motivating and leading a restaurant and venue team to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day venue operations

  • Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, council regulations, food handling and OH&S regulations.

  • Plan and conduct ongoing staff training

What we're looking for:

  • Must have restaurant or bar management experience

  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, friendly demeanour

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Food safety and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification required
