The role Reporting to the Director, Systems Support you will strengthen the financial control environment through the enablement of robust system controls, systems compliance, risk mitigation and the establishment of data governance structures that improve data management within S/4HANA and corporate systems.
**You will also**:
- Lead the design and implementation of data insights, policies, frameworks and procedures that support data management and enable effective data stewardship across S/4HANA.
- Develop techniques, methodologies and tools and a well-documented approach to benefits realisation to support process improvement initiatives across the Health System.
- Proactively identify master data improvement opportunities for the Department of Health.
- Manage the integrity of S/4HANA systems data ensuring the continuous monitoring of financial controls, segregation of duties and the provision of strategic advice relating to new, ineffective, or amended mitigating controls.
- Have a thorough understanding of Accounting and Finance related developments as well as policies and directives and initiatives in financial and data management.
The successful person
**You will have**:
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of data governance and risk activities relevant to the Department of Health and Hospital and Health Services.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership and manage an effective team environment.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal competence.
- Proven issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions.
- Experience in managing within an environment of financial pressures and capacity to recommend courses of action to achieve optimal governance outcomes.
