Manager Corporate Governance

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Governance, you will be responsible for managing a range of corporate services and specialist advice to internal stakeholders that encourages transparency and facilitates performance improvement. This includes but is not limited to strategic and operational planning, reporting, risk management, fraud and corruption control, performance measurement, portfolio delegations, policy, and compliance and governance frameworks.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate the Annual Report and Estimates hearing briefs for RSHQ managing the required content and the engagement with relevant stakeholders
- Develop, implement, and manage RSHQ's governance framework, policies, systems, and processes to maintain compliance with relevant laws, governance requirements and standards
- Plan, design and deliver regular reviews of the RSHQ risk management framework, strategic and operational planning and implementation of effective reporting identifying performance trends and emerging issues
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team and develop and maintain effective working relationships with business areas to support them in implementing and developing key governance frameworks
- Manage the RSHQ delegation's framework
- Coordinate the annual Regulator Performance report in line with the Queensland Government Guide to Better Regulation
- Provide succinct, clear, and articulated high-level written reports, briefs, presentations, and submissions
- Communicate with influence in relation to complex compliance and governance concepts to diverse audiences
- Build corporate governance capability and awareness through providing support, education, and training across RSHQ
- Manage the Risk Management & Compliance frameworks and reporting
- Represent the agency at internal and external forums pertaining to corporate governance functions and services
- Provide support to the Director, Corporate Governance as required.
