**The Role**

Our Member Office advocates for the best interests of the members and assists Insignia Financial's APRA Regulated Entity (ARE) Boards with their fiduciary responsibilities.

In this role you will analyse data and reporting to identify key insights from a Trustee perspective. You will also collate and support the preparation and review of relevant board and board committee papers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate and attend strategic business planning sessions that are focused on the delivery of quality member outcomes.
- Collate and analyse data to support the annual business planning process including the RSEL business plans, Business Performance reviews and Legislated Outcomes Assessments.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust and expanding the knowledge and importance of the Trustees' role.
- Support the RSEL Boards to fulfil their fiduciary obligations by advocating for member best interests.
- Prepare reports as required.
- Build solid working relationship with relevant functional areas and promote the Member Office.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform strategic planning and appropriate benchmarking.
- Possess a strong understanding of the products and services provided to members.
- Stay up to date with industry initiatives, reforms, and regulations.
- Advocate the fiduciary role of the RSELs inside Insignia, acting in the interest of members and being an independent advocate for the RSEL Directors in the management and identification of conflicts of interest.
- Create an environment which fosters open dialogue and challenge with the Member Office and Service Providers.

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:

- Experience in financial services/ superannuation/ wealth industry.
- Experience and skills working in the superannuation business.
- Possess a working knowledge of product / service complexities.
- Proficiency in business software use including as a minimum Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong attention to detail
