A leading asset management firm is seeking a
Front Office Business Analyst
to support a multi-year systems transformation program, decommissioning Dimension and transitioning to Charles River (State Street Alpha).

The consultant will work closely with investment teams, SMEs, and vendors to analyse requirements, develop and execute test cases, and provide clear reporting to support successful platform implementation. The role requires strong financial markets knowledge, and hands-on Charles River experience.

The engagement will run for
12 months on a full-time basis (with flexibility to consider 3–4 days per week)
, operating in a hybrid model (office and work from home).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with investment teams and SME business analysts to capture and analyse requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive test cases to validate the transition to Charles River.
  • Execute test cases and track results, ensuring issues and risks are logged and resolved.
  • Provide structured test reports to the Test Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor interactions to ensure testing and delivery meet agreed timelines and standards.
  • Support change management activities by ensuring test outcomes align with business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a proactive bridge between front office teams, project stakeholders, and technical vendors.

Your Background

Essential:

  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst in financial services/asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and front office operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Charles River (State Street Alpha).
  • Proven skills in test design, execution, and reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor management experience.
  • Proactive and strong communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in system migrations/decommissioning.
  • Exposure to large-scale transformation initiatives in asset management.
