Billing Officer

**BROAD SCOPE**:
Timely and accurate validation and reconciliation of carrier invoices & rates against contracts
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Be responsible for major customer portfolios; including accurate and timely charges
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices received and processed
- Pro-active communication and follow up to efficiently resolve all discrepancy matters with all stakeholders, internal and external
- Data entry for allocations and invoices and Reconciliation against System Data Information
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client
- Coordinating with Operation to get clarity on charges billed by carriers and doesn't match our estimated cost
- Customer billing with rate card understanding (preparing and issuing monthly invoices for our customers)
- Preparing Month end accrual Journal
- Provide high levels of customer service ensuring the expectations of both internal and external customers are satisfied at all times.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- High Attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literate
- Ms Office proficient (Advanced excel)
- Positive can do attitude
- Attention to details
- Business background
- Good communication skills
- Positive and Dynamic
- Quick learner
- Corporate experience
- Relevant Tertiary qualification
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Minimum of 1 year in the similar role
- Logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory
**SKILLS**:
- Intermediate data entry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Excel skill (vlookup and Pivot)
- Excellent reporting & analysis skill
Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
