**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Maintain Financial Records**: Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments accurately and timely into the accounting system.

2. **Bank Reconciliation**: Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

3. **Accounts Payable and Receivable**: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and following up on outstanding balances.

4. **Payroll Processing**: Calculate and process payroll accurately, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.

5. **Financial Reporting**: Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a regular basis.

6. **Budget Management**: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, ensuring expenditures are within allocated budgets.

7. **Audit Support**: Provide support during financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

8. **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies.

**Desirable Criteria**:
1. **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.

2. **Proficiency in Accounting Software**: Demonstrated experience with accounting software such as Xero, or similar platforms.

3. **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

4. **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends.

5. **Organizational Skills**: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

6. **Communication Skills**: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients.

7. **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to team goals.

8. **Problem-Solving Skills**: Proven ability to solve problems independently and efficiently.

9. **Education**: A degree or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
