**Job Description**:
The Accounts Payable Officer will provide the Finance department with support to ensure accurate processing of the end-to-end function of accounts payable for both GYG Hola Central (Head Office) and our corporate restaurants.

The Accounts Payable Officer will have a keen eye for detail and a customer-focused attitude, they will add value to the finance team by developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who can offer ideas and solutions for process improvement to support the achievement of the business strategy and direction.

**What you can expect in the role**:

- Timely and accurate processing of all authorised vendor invoices into the financial management system
- Analyse and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Manage Lightyear the Accounts Payable platform
- Provide analysis and support to vendors and staff in relation to payment processing and management of creditors
- Assistant in month end closing procedures
- Work with the Finance team to correctly process capital expenditure invoices into the General Ledger
- Identify new procedures to improve internal controls
- Work with the team to manage the accounts inbox efficiently
- Other ad hoc accounting duties to support the broader team

**You’ll enjoy this role if you have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce (preferred)
- Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
- QSR, hospitality or Food and Beverage experience (desirable)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail; good data entry skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer/IT acumen including the ability to use Microsoft Office software
