**What you’ll be doing**

The Accounts Payable Assistant assists in the Accounts Payable process, ensuring invoices are approved for processing are matched to supporting documentation to enable supplier accounts reconciliation with general ledger and sub-ledger.

Accounts Administration
- Accounts payable, including invoice processing, prepare and process supplier payments, reconciliations.
- Ensure invoices received for payment are logged in Jobpac and assist in preparation of Construction Spend report.
- Manage supplier reconciliations, identify discrepancies in information supplied and/or missing information.
- Prepare AP Payment Summary for approval, process payments via the Bank, process ad hoc payment during the month.

Information Management
- Maintaining accurate and retrievable accounts information
- Providing information on request, to assist reporting and analysis

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in finance, economics or related.
- At least 1 year experience in an accounting environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Construction industry knowledge.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Office and accounting software, particularly Jobpac.
- Results orientated and detail focused.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
