YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Managing incoming deliveries from suppliers and ensuring goods are processed and stored effectively, including regular access to the freezer and cool room
- Complying with strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks
- Assist and support team members, managers and the wider food and beverage department in a team environment
- Maintain Exclusive control over storage areas, control over deliveries and stock counts
- Identify slow moving items to avoid over purchasing
- Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods
TOGETHER AS A TEAM
A key role of the Kitchen Production team is to prepare and serve food, including our world-famous meatballs and Daim cake, to both our customers and co-workers. Together we strive to deliver a prime dining experience for the customer shopping journey and ensure our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied.
