The purpose of this role is to define the strategy of assigned clients, taking in account their specific characteristics and establishing synergies between SEO and other marketing/communication actions.

The role:
As a SEO Manager you will work closely with and have the full support of your immediate client team, with a particular focus on working with the SEO Director to lead the delivery of client work and nurture the client relationship. You will own the development of the SEO Executive and Associates within the team, helping them to grow and deliver on client work.
Key responsibilities:
- Develops account strategy in partnership with client and SEO Director and is accountable for leading the execution of strategy and achievement of KPIs with the team
- Ensures deliverables are met on time and on budget
- Owns and manages the client strategy and plans key campaign efficiencies - working autonomously from Director to be proactive, taking ownership of work and roadmap
- Manages scope creep and profitability in consult with director
- Manages all day-to-day efforts and is the primary day-to-day SME voice to the client with the manager
- Plans accounts and growth opportunities, working closely with the Account Directors and Managers
- Builds strong relationships across Client Services and other channel teams- Builds relationship beyond the SEO Team, integrating and improving ways of working with internal and external agency paid media teams-
- Key people management support for Director and client partnerA bit about you
- Subject matter expertise across a range of SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as but not limited to, Google Analytics, Search Console, SERP insight platforms, SEM Rush and Ahrefs.
- Experience performing comprehensive SEO Audits and analysis, technical optimisation, on-page optimisation, keyword research, content gap analysis and offsite SEO.
- A good understanding of SEO Strategy, best practice and keeping up with developing market trends/tools.
- A high attention to detail and naturally inquisitive.
- Proactive communication skills with internal and external stakeholders and teams, able to effectively manage expectations and nurture relationships.
- Project Management, time management skills, able to effectively prioritise.
- A collaborative leader and mentor, able to develop juniors to grow the capabilities of the team.
- Good experience with MS office suit, in particular Excel and PowerPoint

The salary package range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000 AUD inclusive of superannuation and dependent on experience.
