**About the role**:
This is a key leadership role within our Search Team here at Sportsbet. As SEO Manager, you will have the autonomy and the privilege to redefine our SEO strategy, manage the SEO budget & forecasting and lead a team of specialists to deliver against our core objective of introducing new customers to the wonders of Sportsbet.
You’ll ensure all core SEO components are considered, executed and optimised to maximise our organic presence across all current and emerging platforms. Focusing on a best practice approach to all things SEO at Sportsbet and ensuring that all customer facing business projects are SEO ready will be key to your success. We can’t do this alone which is why sharing your passion for SEO across the organisation to grow networks, influence and foster a culture of collaboration will be how you’ll win.
**About you**:
**High level strategy - **You know what great looks like when it comes to SEO so it’ll be an easy task for you to review our current state, identify gaps and develop road map for us to get to great. This includes creating clear Content and Technical plans, optimising Martech operational model as well as developing an understanding of support required for business wide projects on the roadmap.
**Leadership - **Developing an open, collaborative & supportive culture, you’ll help your team create goals and development plans as well as providing ongoing support to deliver outcomes and to their kick career development goals.
**Stakeholder engagement - **you’ll have introduced yourself to key stakeholders and understand how you can tell the story of SEO to the business to create buy in and support required for your team to deliver. Additionally with a portfolio of partners we work closely with, ensuring these relationships are nurtured and grown will be important.
You’ll ideally come from a large (100+ people) digital company and you can demonstrate your success of measuring efforts against performance targets resulting in increased visibility, traffic and customer acquisitions and demonstrate analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
You’ll be a passionate people leader and embody the values Sportsbet desire in their leaders. You’re a great story teller and know how to connect with people across the business and have influence. You’re totally current when it comes to SEO trends, strategies, tactics and performance and have a proven track record of being able to successfully grow traffic and improve search engine rankings through innovative content and technical strategies..
As far as tech hard skills go, you’ve got the skills to pay the bills working with HTML, Java Script, Botify, Brightedge, Screaming Frog, SEMrush etc. You love data and love rolling up your sleeves to dig in using GA, SQL, PowerBi and identify actionable insights to share with your team or wider stakeholders.
