Tasks and Qualifications:
The Role:
Currently we have an opportunity for a motivated and talented Maintenance Technician with a Mechanical background to join the team. The position will be located in Prestons, NSW at one of our major client sites.

This role can provide a good work / life balance along with excellent remuneration with overtime and penalty rates offered.- Day shift - 6:00 am - 2:00 pm- Monday to Friday with some potential overtime from time to time- There may be some occasional weekend work with penalty rates offered

You will be servicing clients' equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products. Adhering to and promoting safety standards and work is also a vital component of the role.

What we are looking for:
- Mechanical Trades qualification, Australian recognised (ideally Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade)- Experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems, computerised maintenance systems, and automation (conveyors, vertical cranes & sortation systems) is an advantage though not essential- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics- Understanding of OH&S requirements- PLC experience / exposure in Siemens S7 and SCADA, WIN CC an advantage, training can be provided- Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS)- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills- Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with customers- Must have your own transportation and driver licence
