Pharmacare Operations is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to join our manufacturing facility based in Prestons.

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for managing a team of Maintenance Technicians and Electrician on site, all machine-related activities, both in manufacturing and the facilities/infrastructure that supports same, routine maintenance to ensure efficiencies are met while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental factors. This role focuses on the day-to-day maintenance tasks in addition to the advanced-level machine setting.

**Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your key areas of accountability include, but are not limited to**:

- Liaise with relevant individuals to ensure required machines are available and in acceptable condition.
- Install & commission new machines.
- Manage the fitters and electricians on site for the day-to-day task (Work orders).
- Manage the development and training of the maintenance team on site.
- Manage Preventive maintenance and Utilities routine maintenance on site with contractors.
- Manage spare parts and consumables inventory
- Develop maintenance reliability tools to improve production and efficiency.
- Order parts.
- Manage and drive small and medium scale projects/machine improvement.
- Ensuring that the quality of the product and service within the factory is maintained at the highest possible standards.
- Abide by the Health and Safety policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices.
- Consult with the Engineering & Facilities Manager for all technical-related tasks.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Mechanical trade qualifications

**EXPERIENCE**
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance and machine setting
- Experience with machines in production process
- Experience with Maintenance Computerized system/s
- Experience in managing situations with tight quality and efficiency parameters
- Experience with machine installation & commissioning
- Experience with mechanical fault finding

**We are looking for a forward-thinking and self-motivated individual, who can work autonomously. To succeed in this role, you must also be able to work under pressure, prioritise and multi-task conflicting priorities.**

**Salary**: $110,000.00 per year
