Maintenance Technician

We have a new position for a motivated and talented Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kemps Creek, NSW.

This is a permanent day shift position with overtime opportunities. This is a hands on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer focused individual.

Initially, the primary objectives of this role will be a commissioning and project support role. Upon project completion, the role will move toward a technical and maintenance function. Key aspects include - Servicing our client's equipment in accordance with project and service agreements - Troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults - Identifying opportunities for improvements in the manufacture and performance of Dematic systems and products - Adhering to and promoting safety standards and work practices at all times

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**The Role**:
We have a newly created position for a motivated and talented **Industrial Electrician or Qualified Mechanical fitter **to join our team. Initially, you will be part of the site commissioning team before transitioning into the full time site Technician role.

This full-time permanent position is located at one of our client sites in **Kemps Creek, NSW **.
- Full time day shift position (7.00 am -3.00 pm) - 38 hr week
- Overtime opportunities and eventually will be required at least one Saturday per month

This is a hands-on customer service role that requires a self-motivated and customer focused individual. The primary objectives of this role are: - Servicing our client's equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, t roubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults, identifying opportunities for improvements in the manufacture and performance of Dematic systems and products, adhering to and promoting safety standards and work practices at all times.

**What we are looking for**:

- **_Electrical applicants: Unrestricted Electrical License (Australian recognised) _**:

- **_Mechanical trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade preferred) _**:

- **_Restricted electrical licence desirable but not essential _**:

- Mechanical maintenance experience is mandatory
- Experience in automation (conveyors & sortation systems) is an advantage
- Experience in pneumatic systems
- Experience in computerised maintenance systems MEX or similar
- Understanding of OH&S requirements
- PLC experience/exposure in Siemens S7, Alan Bradley and SCADA WIN CC is an advantage
- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with the customer
