The Opportunity

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations at the largest organics processing facility in the southern hemisphere. This role requires collaboration across the operations to drive improvements in output, processes, and quality, whilst ensuring that maintenance and repairs are planned and carried out safely, and accurately.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead a team of fitters and plan their day-to-day maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of all machinery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the site's operational efficiency.
  • Develop positive working relationships with other support functions and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with Cleanaway's safety standards.

About You

  • Solid prior experience in a similar Maintenance supervisory role within a large industrial or processing facility.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of effective maintenance plans for fixed plant and equipment.
  • Understanding of reliability-centered maintenance, and root cause analysis, and how to leverage them to develop a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is essential.
