As a Money Market Settlements Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate settlement of money market transactions. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including traders, counterparties, and custodians, to facilitate timely settlements and resolve any discrepancies. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in reconciling transactions and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute daily settlement activities for money market transactions.
- Coordinate with traders, brokers, and custodians to confirm trade details and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor cash flows and ensure adequate funding for settlement obligations.
- Reconcile trade confirmations and resolve any discrepancies with counterparties.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and provide reports as necessary to management and regulatory authorities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in money market settlements or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Understanding of money market instruments and settlement processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing money market transactions is preferred.
